Church Life

Welcome to Church Life, a glimpse into the heart of our Russellville SDA family.

Here we share stories of service, fellowship, and faith in action: from work bees and baptisms to potlucks and evangelism.

These moments remind us that the church is not just a place we attend, but a family serving Christ together. 🤍

May–July 2026

  • The Body Discovery Journey is a 10-week community health education series held at Heritage Hall.
  • Participants from across the River Valley are discovering practical principles that support healing and long-term wellness.
  • Each session includes engaging video presentations, guided notes, and meaningful discussion in a welcoming environment.
  • Attendees are building their own personal health notebooks to help them apply what they are learning at home.
  • Through caring relationships and practical education, this outreach is creating opportunities for deeper conversations about faith, health, and God’s desire for wholeness.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and share health, hope, and healing.

March 2026

  • On Sabbath, March 7, members and guests at the Russellville Seventh-day Adventist Church gathered to observe the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s worldwide International Women’s Day of Prayer.
  • Dr. Marjorie Belizaire, Health Ministries director for the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference, shared a message titled “A Woman, Faith, and Prayer,” reflecting on the story of the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15 and the power of persistent faith in prayer.
  • Following the worship service, the church family enjoyed a fellowship meal together, and Dr. Belizaire presented a second message during the afternoon session.

We were grateful for a meaningful Sabbath of worship, encouragement, and fellowship as we were reminded of the importance of persistent faith and prayer.

December 2025

  • On Sabbath, December 20, 2025, members of our church visited the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to share the joy of the season through Christmas carols.
  • Residents and staff were blessed with familiar hymns and songs that reminded us all of God’s nearness, comfort, and enduring love.
  • It was a meaningful time of connection, smiles, and fellowship as we shared music, encouragement, and the hope of Christ with those in our community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and to bring light, joy, and the message of Jesus to those who may need it most during the Christmas season.

November 2025

  • On Sabbath, November 22, 2025, we celebrated six baptisms.
